Gibson Custom Shop Corvette Les Paul - Prototype

This is a once in a lifetime guitar opportunity!  This Prototype Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul honors the 1960 Chevy Corvette.  It was purchased by its owner to match is 1960 Corvette.  He does not play guitar.  This guitar has its original strings.  Other than those of us in the shop spending a few seconds checking its playability, it's basically never been played.  

There were to be 200 of these made.  We are unsure if all 200 were actually made, or how many were made in Cascade Green.  This is the only one we have seen with the marking of "Prototype".  Its serial number is VIN 5002.  

This guitar is in excellent condition.  The only reason we are not saying mint as it does have some lacquer checking.  This would be expected for a guitar of this age.  The checking is primarily on the binding as shown in the pictures.  In the pictures we tried to capture the color as close as possible.  Green and blues do tend to show brighter in pictures.  Also, see the video.
