Taylor T5-C1 Semi-Hollow Electric Acoustic - Red Edge Burst (Used)
Black Mountain Guitar Co
Few woods conjure up reactions like maple. Between its crisp, bright tone and dramatic, variegated figure it’s easy to see why. The T5 Custom (T5-C1) takes full advantage of maple’s appeal, playing nicely off the sharp lines of the f-holes and elegant “Spire” inlays. A variety of vibrant color options highlight maple's striking personality.
The Hybrid Design: Introduced in 2005, the T5 series was designed to give gigging musicians a single instrument capable of switching seamlessly between warm acoustic tones and rich electric sounds.
The "C1" Designation: The "C" denotes the Venetian cutaway, and the "1" specifies the upgraded figured/flamed maple top (often finished in Tobacco Sunburst) rather than the standard mahogany top.
Body: Hollowbody design with a sapele back and sides, paired with a maple top.
Neck: Mahogany with a bound ebony fingerboard, a 24 7/8-inch scale length, and a 1 11/16-inch nut width.
Electronics: Proprietary three-pickup configuration featuring a magnetic acoustic body sensor under the top, a visible neck humbucker, and a hidden bridge humbucker, controlled via a 5-way switch.
Hardware: Gold Taylor tuners (by Gotoh) and an ebony bridge with a bone saddle.
