Gibson Les Paul Standard (1959) Refinished

Black Mountain Guitar Co is honored to offer another original 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard.  This guitar has been refinished.  It maintains its original PAF pickups including the M49 and M69 pickup rings.  It also looks to have its original toggle switch.  All the other electronics have been replaced.  It does look to have its original ABR1 bridge.  The stop tailpiece and tuners are non-original.  

This one weighs in at 8.8 pounds.  This guitar is lighter weight for an LP and is a fabulous player.  The PAF's sounds great!  

The refinish was done well.  This guitar at one time was fitted with a Bigsby.  It has been removed and the holes plugged.  There is also a hole plugged on the top and two on the back.  It looks as if they were drilled and plugged to cover deep gouges.  The back of the neck shows scars that were filled in prior to the refinish.  This guitar was Rocked!  

It's obvious there was a refret.  Someone also inlayed a heart in the fret board at the first fret.  This guitar definitely has character and a cool mojo.
