Duesenberg and the Dropkick Murphys have teamed up again to create a unique new guitar. Jeff DaRosa, rock multi-instrumentalist and member of the Boston punk band The Dropkick Murphys, worked with the guitar makers from Duesenberg on a new model that has only one pickup but three completely different sounds. A solid mahogany body, which has large resonance chambers to improve the tone and reduce weight, creates the characteristic tone somewhere between solid body and semi-acoustic. The two split / king pickups produce authentic single coil and humbucker sounds. The 3-way switch on the cutaway also provides a third sound option through a special interconnection of the pickup.
This guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity, hand-signed by Jeff DaRosa, Duesenberg CEO Ingo Renner and the luthier who completed the instrument.
