This retro-futuristic brainchild of Custom Shop Product Engineer Darron Dubose features a solid Korina body and a mahogany neck that have completely unique designs and contours. It’s accented with Mid Century Modern-style bowtie and amoeba shapes throughout, and a bevy of other bold choices, from the single “G” headstock inlay and raised Gibson logo on the pickguard to the string-through construction and split coil neck humbucker. Is this the next “Moderne”? Time will tell.
