We also upgraded with one a set of Electric Ed 7/2 Tele Pickups and a Mad Hatter Guitar Products Terminator 2/2 System.
Electric Ed 7/2 Tele Pickups:
Bring vintage and modern together Ed created the 7/2 Tele Pickups. Using Alnico V Rod Magnets these pickups deliver great spank and woody tones. The bridge pickup is wound slight hotter than the traditional vintage Tele pickup measuring in at 7.3 ohms.
To retain the classic vintage tone the neck pickup also measures in at 7.3 ohms. Together they provide the great Tele tones you expect with great response and note clarity. These pickups sound great in parallel, series, with 250k, 500k, or 1 meg pots. We encourage you to find the combination that works best for your guitar and playing style.
Each pickup is hand wound, numbered, and signed personally by Ed.
The neck pickup comes with your choice of color cover in either Nickel, Gold, or Raw Nickel cover.

Terminator 2/2 System:
The Terminator 2/2 Single Volume Single Tone Systemwith 3-Way Selector Switch for Two Single Coils (SVST-2/2) is specifically designed for standard two single coil pickup telecasters. This instrument would utilize a single volume and single tone controls.
As part of the Transformer Series, the Terminator 2/2 system brings the most out of your double single coil equipped guitar. When in standard operating mode the Terminator 2/2 3-Way Selector switch selects the pickup combinations you know and love in positions 1, 2, & 3. Engaging the Terminator 2/2 Yin-Yang P/P Pot changes the Goes to Eleven Volume pot from 250k to 500k for a brighter sound for that extra twang. Furthermore, position three is now both pickups in series for that thicker fuller sound, but at the 500k value it's not muddy as you can find with the volume pot at 250k. When the 2/2 P/P Tone Pot is engaged positions 1, 2, & 3 will have the following pickup combinations:
- Bridge pickup pickup at 500k
- Bridge & Middle pickups in parallel at 500k
- Bridge & Middle pickups in series at 500k
System includes:
- One Terminator "Goes 2/11 Volume" Pot
- One Terminator 2/2 Yin-Yang P/P Pot
- Mad Hatter Switchcraft Output Jack
- Terminator 2/2 3-Way Super Selector Switch
- Two Polypropylene Tone Capacitors, a .022uF and a .047uF to help find just the right tone.
