This instrument features a number of custom-order upgrades from the base model, including the following items: Brazilian rosewood back and sides, “Jester” peghead inlay, and “torch and wing” pattern fingerboard inlay. This instrument conforms to the typical specifications of the model for the period in which it was made with 16” wide single Florentine cutaway flat-top body, Sitka spruce top, clear plastic pickguard, multi-ply white & black sound hole rosette with abalone center ring, “lower belly” style ebony bridge with drop-in saddle and mother-of-pearl inlay, black bridge pins with abalone center dots, mahogany neck with white heel cap, individual chrome-plated sealed Schaller tuners with metal buttons, 20-fret ebony fingerboard with single-ply grained ivoroid edge binding, multi-ply white & black edge binding with Brazilian rosewood exterior play and abalone edge trim on body top, and multi-ply light & dark wood edge binding on body rear.
This guitar has had one owner since it was purchased new in 1994. It does show some playing wear with its share of nicks and scrapes. Some are shown in the pictures. More pictures can be provided upon request.
